I think this may be my best football photo so far. Let me know what you think.

More Football

I shot this last Friday night, I was really excited when I saw it on the LCD screen but when I saw it on the computer screen I wasn't impressed. I still like it I just wish there wasn't motion blur.

Photo Illustration

I pictured my photo turning out so much better than this. I couldn't figure out how to get the second pump to look right on the corn. Everything I did it just looked fake so I decided that it wasn't going to get a pump.

Bobby Lee Pinklton Senior

I was shooting my pano assignment Wednesday night and a homeless man came up to me wanting me to take his picture. Bobby Lee wanted me to get his picture in the paper and tell his story about being homeless in Greensboro, N.C. and how the Greensboro Police treat the homeless.

Sports Portrait

Trey Cavanagh was nice enough to help me out with my sports portrait Wednesday evening. I'm really pleased with the out come.

Portfolio

I think I have decided this is my favorite photo from my portfolio. It reminds me of how much I used to like to draw, I just don't have the patiences for it any more.

More Friday Night Football

I was a little worried last Friday about shooting football, all of the f2.8 300mm lenses were checked out. So I was forced to use my crappy f4-5.6 300mm and I was pleasently suprised, I don't think these look too bad.

Ledford High School Coach

Last Friday I checked out a Nikon D200, just to get some practice on a Nikon since I'm a Canon user. The coaches for the Ledford were so animated, this was the only shot I could get of them.

Bright Colors

I took these while I was on vacation. I was watching my two nieces play when I noticed the bright colors of their floats against the water. These were the only shots I could get of them they wouldn't stop playing for very long.

I shot this with: Canon 20D, 80mm 1/1250 @ f5.6

Ocean Isle Beach

I took this over the break at Ocean Isle Beach.
I was walking around and found this really nice walkway by the intercoastal waterway. Every evening I was there I would take a walk down by the waterway in hopes of finding someone sitting on the dock watching the sun set. It never happend, but I still like the sunset over the water.

Friday Night Football

I was really nervous about shooting Friday Night Football, but it turned out to be alot of fun, except for the heat. I found it really hard to follow the football with the 300mm lens, you never know what direction it will be going next.

I cheated a little with this shot, as you can see I shot this when the sun was still out. Central Davidson's team ran out onto the field right infront of me and I thought it was a nice shot.

Best of first year

I had a assignment for my large format class using multiple pops. I liked it so much that I shot several different set ups. This orchid was my favorite.
