Wes : Worship Leader at First United Methodist Church and Lead Singer in The Selfless Season
Stephanie : Pre-K Teacher, amazing cook and world traveler
Back in June my cousin Wes called and asked if I would photograph something for him. Before he even asked me I knew what he wanted, don't ask me how but I just knew what he was going to ask me to do. He and his girlfriend Stephanie were making a special trip from Austin, Tx up to his Mom's farm in Lebenon, VA. He wanted to propose to Stephanie on his Mom's farm! And he wanted me to shoot it!! I knew the first time I met Stephanie that Wes would marry her!
Of course Stephanie had no idea what was going on. He decided Saturday July 9th was the day, so me, Wes and Stephanie headed off to the top of the mountain to takes some video and photos of Wes singing. We just kinda hung out and listened to Wes play for a while. He played my favorite original song of his "Song for a Wife" and Train's song "Marry Me" So by this point I'm on high alert, I'm thinking she must think something's up! Shortly after those songs Wes took Stephanie on a walk.......
